XOi Technologies Expands in Nashville with New Headquarters in the Gulch

by | Apr 9, 2026

The Nashville-based tech firm XOi Technologies has officially opened a new 6,000-square-foot headquarters in the 333 office building in the Gulch neighborhood, marking a significant milestone for the company that began just over a decade ago as a small startup operating out of a rented house in Germantown.

Founded in 2013 by C. Aaron Salow, XOi has built its platform around transforming how technicians in industries like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical manage critical equipment, according to the company’s website.

Its software captures and structures asset data, including from photos and videos to diagnostics and maintenance records, to help companies shift from reactive repairs to predictive maintenance.

“XOi empowers technicians, manufacturers, distributors, service providers, asset owners, and CMMS technology providers to reduce costs, grow revenue, and increase uptime,” the company says.

Over time, the company has evolved from early smart-glasses-based tools to a comprehensive cloud platform that integrates real-time insights, AI-driven recommendations, and lifecycle visibility into a single solution.

Its new Nashville headquarters follows a transformative period for XOi. In 2025, the company secured a massive $230 million investment led by KKR, a deal that made the private equity firm a majority owner and dramatically increased XOi’s resources and scale. The funding coincided with the acquisition of Specifx, further strengthening XOi’s data and analytics capabilities.

The company’s momentum has also been recognized nationally. In 2024, XOi made the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, an annual list of the fastest-growing companies across technology sectors, after achieving a 225 percent revenue growth over the measured period.

More recently, XOi has continued to earn industry recognition for its performance and customer impact. This year, the company was awarded “Best for Customer Satisfaction” in field service management software by Software Advice, based on verified user feedback. The company received a 4.9 out of 5 overall rating
