Nashville Home of Tennessee Titans Player Burglarized Sunday Night, MNPD Confirms

by | Dec 15, 2025

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons’ Nashville home was burglarized Sunday evening, just hours after the team concluded its away game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) confirmed.

Monday morning, MNPD said Simmons discovered and notified police of the break-in at 1:00 a.m. as he returned home from Sunday’s game in California.

MNPD said video surveillance from Simmons’ home shows the burglary occurring shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday, when at least six suspects are seen entering after smashing out the window glass. Multiple items were taken from the NFL player’s home.

MNPD’s Investigative Services Bureau is investigating the case.

Simmons shared the video surveillance capturing the suspects entering his home on Instagram, calling the individuals “cowards” who will “get what you deserve.”

In another Instagram post, Simmons shared a photo of a hammer laying on the ground by a smashed window, suggesting the break-in was “planned” considering how the suspects “knew exactly” where the master bedroom was in his home.

On X, Simmons said, “Through it all, I Smile! The devil can’t and will not steal my joy! All I know is to keep going!!”

The Titans released a statement on the break-in at Simmons’ home, saying, “Team security is actively working with Metro Nashville Police Department to recover items stolen from Jeff Simmons’ house.”

“No residents were home during the burglary,” the Titans added.

The burglary at Simmons’ home comes amid growing concern among law enforcement across Middle Tennessee about the presence of South American Theft Groups (SATG), highly organized criminal crews known for targeting high-end homes while residents are away.

While not confirmed in Simmons’ case, police in Williamson County recently reported that SATG activity has been seen in multiple communities, including Brentwood and Belle Meade. These groups are known to conduct coordinated burglaries and flee the country afterwards, oftentimes leaving behind significant financial losses.

Federal authorities have also highlighted a recent case underscoring the scope of these operations. Earlier this year, seven Chilean nationals were charged with conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property after allegedly burglarizing the homes of several professional athletes across the nation, including NFL and NBA players.

According to prosecutors, the group targeted athletes while they were traveling or playing in games, as seen in Simmons’ case, stealing millions in valuables.
