Three men, including a Mexican national in the U.S. illegally, have been charged as a result of the early Sunday morning raid conducted by federal law enforcement of the Miami nightclub in Antioch.
Federal court-authorized search and arrest warrants were executed at Miami nightclub located inside the strip mall at 2045 Antioch Pike by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other federal agencies, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ERO officers, Sunday morning around 5:30 a.m.
On Monday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee announced that the raid resulted in the arrest of three men for their alleged involvement in drug-related crimes conducted out of the nightclub and a neighboring business.
The attorney’s office said 37-year-old Rimon Salim, a U.S. naturalized citizen, 44-year-old Antuan Rhodes of Nashville, and 35-year-old Jorge Luis, a citizen of Mexico without U.S. legal status, were arrested and charged in three separate criminal complaints for their involvement in drug-related crimes conducted both out of Miami nightclub and the bar next door of the club called Paisanos.
The attorney’s office, citing court documents, said Salim owns and operates Miami nightclub and Paisanos bar.
On the weekends, Paisanos operates as a nightclub from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., when it closes. Miami Club opens next door as an “after-party nightclub” from 2:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Law enforcement began investigating drug trafficking in Miami and Paisanos approximately 18 months ago. During the investigation, undercover agents were deployed inside the clubs and observed drug sales and drug usage, according to the attorney’s office.
In addition, informants used by law enforcement also purchased drugs from individuals in the nightclubs’ bathrooms.
Luis, who is in the U.S. illegally, allegedly sold informants cocaine in Paisanos’ bathroom on “multiple occasions” between February 2024 and March 2025. Salim, Rhodes, and others also allegedly sold and provided informants methamphetamine and cocaine in Miami club on multiple occasions between August 2024 and March 2025, the attorney’s office notes.
Salim was charged with maintaining a drug-involved premises, for which he faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a $500,000 fine, and distributing controlled substances, for which he faces up to life in federal prison and a $10,000,000 fine.
Luis and Rhodes are both charged with distributing controlled substances, for which they each face up to 20 years in federal prison and a $1 million fine.
The investigation into Miami nightclub and Paisanos bar comes as the businesses have attracted crime for years as the attorney’s office notes local law enforcement received over 400 calls regarding fights, weapons, shots fired, individuals suffering gunshot wounds, theft, disorderly conduct, and various other crimes at the locations between 2020 and 2024.
The case of the Antioch businesses is being investigated as part of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Operation Take Back America, which was launched in March at the direction of President Donald Trump to “repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.”
