ICE Rounds Up Almost 400 Illegal Aliens in Massachusetts Operation

by | Mar 25, 2025

ICE announced Monday it arrested 370 illegal aliens in Massachusetts during an enhanced targeted enforcement operation.

This operation occurred from March 18 to March 23 with ICE and other federal law enforcement partners.

Fifty-five percent of the illegal aliens arrested had significant criminal convictions or charges. Further, six of these illegal immigrants currently face charges or convictions for murder, drug trafficking, organized crime, and money laundering.

The operation targeted criminal organizations such as MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Trinitarios, and 18th Street gangs.

Among the people arrested were a Brazilian illegal immigrant wanted for murder and convicted of firearms trafficking, an El Salvadorian illegal immigrant with ties to the 18th Street gang, and a Guatemalan illegal immigrant charged with rape.

Furthermore, law enforcement captured around 44 kilograms of methamphetamines, 5 kilograms of fentanyl, and 1.2 kilograms of cocaine.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts Leah Foley said people should agree that America can’t let people “who not only violate our immigration laws but then commit crimes that endanger our communities.”

Foley added that people who enter America illegally are “breaking the law.”

“My office remains committed to working alongside our law enforcement partners to ensure that dangerous individuals are identified, prosecuted, and removed, so that the people of Massachusetts can live and work in safe and secure communities,” he said.

DEA New England Field Division acting Special Agent in Charge Stephen Belleau said the DEA has prioritized investigations of “violent, illegal criminal aliens responsible for flooding our communities with deadly and dangerous drugs.”

“DEA’s core mission is to keep the American public safe by seizing deadly and dangerous drugs before they get into our communities, and to bring justice to the criminals responsible for manufacturing, distributing, and supplying these drugs,” Belleau explained.

In recent weeks, ICE conducted multiple targeted enforcement operations across America. In Kentucky, law enforcement arrested 81 illegal aliens, and in Northern Virginia, law enforcement took 214 criminal illegal aliens into custody.
