Spirit Airlines is expanding its services at Nashville International Airport (BNA) this year by offering five new routes to destinations in three states beginning in March, the airline company announced.
The company is adding two destinations – George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas (IAH), and Boston Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) – to its Nashville route map beginning on March 5.
Flights to Boston will depart from Nashville daily, while flights to Houston will depart anywhere from four to seven routes every week.
In addition to the company’s new routes to Houston and Boston, the airliner announced it will begin offering limited-time service to three destinations in Florida – Fort Myers, Miami, and Pensacola – just in time for the spring break.
Flights to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers (RSW) and Miami International Airport in Miami (MIA) will depart from Nashville once a week beginning March 8.
Flights to Pensacola International Airport in Pensacola (PNS) will depart from Nashville more frequently, with four weekly flights beginning March 6.
“Our Music City Guests have truly embraced our affordable fares and high-value service to great destinations, and we’re looking forward to introducing these new flights at BNA, just in time for spring break,” John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines, said in a statement emailed to The Tennessee Star.
“Spirit’s recently transformed Guest experience offers even greater value to our BNA Guests for an elevated journey to these new destinations,” Kirby added.
Booking for Spirit Airlines’ new routes out of Nashville are currently open for booking on the company’s website.
With the company’s expanded service beginning in March, Spirit Airlines will offer 12 nonstop flights from Nashville since it began offering services at BNA in 2019.
